Coulter Elite Resourcing is currently looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients in South London.
Principle Responsibilities for the Senior Electrical Design Engineer :
- Implement company procedures and policies, ensuring compliance across all projects.
- Carry out electrical design and project management for various projects in line with company aims and policies.
- Manage and mentor junior staff, providing electrical engineering support to all team members.
- Liaise with clients, attend meetings,
and maintain strong client relationships to ensure project success.
- Oversee financial aspects of projects, including fee assessments and providing fee bids as directed.
Person Specification :
- Proven experience in electrical design engineering, with a strong background in project management of multi-disciplinary projects.
- Knowledge of current Building Regulations, especially energy-related controls, and familiarity with CIBSE Guides, IEE Regulations, CDM Regulations, and British Standards.
- Experience working in a consultancy or for a large contractor in a design capacity.
- Proficient in CAD, Revit / BIM, and the production of design calculations, drawings, and tender packages.
- Qualified to at least HNC or Degree Level, with strong computer skills including AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.
This is a full-time permanent Senior Electrical Design Engineer position,
offering an annual salary of £55,000 £60,000 plus annual company benefits including 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, pension scheme, discount scheme on all company products, and free car parking.
