Our client is a well established General Contractor and their Development in London delivers projects within Student Accommodation, Residential, Commercial & Retail projects.
They are currently recruiting for a Senior Development Executive / Manager for their new build consented Student accommodation projects and the UK’s most important mixed-use regeneration projects.
Working as part of a dedicated team, the Senior Development Executive / Manager will be expected to lead their own developments across all aspects of the development process including master-planning, options analysis,
design development, planning, contract negotiation etc.
As Senior Development Manager you will oversee the development of Land Assets to create better spaces for local residents whilst returning value to the Authority wherever possible.
You will take the initial phases of each scheme from concept through feasibility, planning and contract will form an integral part of the development front end delivery team and be responsible for your own portfolio of projects.
You will work closely with the Construction Directors and Construction PM’s to deliver these projects according to timescales and budget.
You will mitigate any risk associated with each scheme ensuring that you maximise returns and profitability for the project.
You will manage the relationships with cabinet members, stakeholders and external consultants to deliver the projects successfully.
The Successful Senior Development Manager Applicant :
The ideal Senior Development Manager will be able to display the following skills,
experiences and attributes :
Development Manager Professional qualification MRICS, RIBA, MICE or equivalent
- Considerable experience negotiating and managing complex mutli-use projects within the residential sector. A strong working knowledge of negotiating development contacts (a mix of development agreements and design & build).
- Commercially astute with evidence running complex cash flows.
- Proven ability to create business cases (treasury approach).
- Excellent communication skills, ability to engage with a range of audiences.
