Job description
Wayman Group is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced German Subject Lead for a prestigious girls school in Westminster.

As the German Subject Lead, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the education and development of students.
This role requires someone with a passion for teaching German and the ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
You will be responsible for leading and coordinating the German curriculum within the school, as well as providing guidance and support to other German teachers.
In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the overall development and improvement of the German department.
This may include developing and implementing effective teaching strategies, creating and evaluating assessments, and ensuring the German curriculum is aligned with curriculum standards and objectives.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced German teacher with leadership skills to join a prestigious girls school in Westminster, starting in May.

Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the German curriculum within the school
- Provide guidance and support to other German teachers
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources
- Ensure the German curriculum is aligned with curriculum standards and objectives
- Monitor and assess student progress
- Participate in departmental and school-wide meetings and events
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in German or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
- Proven experience in teaching German to secondary students
- Strong knowledge of German culture and language
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership and mentoring abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with curriculum standards and assessment methods
