A well-established Catholic girls' school in Southwark, South London, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Technology teacher to join its growing team.
This is a one-year fixed-term, full-time position offering the opportunity to inspire a new generation of food enthusiasts.
What You'll Do :
- Design and deliver engaging and informative Food Technology lessons across all year groups,
aligned with the National Curriculum.
- Cultivate a stimulating and safe learning environment that fosters a love of exploration in the kitchen, practical skills, and a strong foundation in nutrition.
- Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation.
- Stay abreast of advancements in the Food Technology field and integrate them seamlessly into the curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Food Technology department and contribute to school-wide events.
We Seek a Candidate Who :
- Possesses a valid QTS in Food Technology or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrates a fervent passion for food and a captivating teaching style.
- Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management.
- Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student well-being.
