Are you an incoming 2024 Science subject university graduate with a desire to find a tutoring position inside of a school supporting KS3 & KS4 students in the Science subject?
i-teachers are currently working with a superb SEMH provision school located in the Moseley area who are eager to find a dedicated, outgoing and naturally engaging Science Academic Mentor to provide excellent 1 : 1 & small group support sessions for their KS3 & KS4 students in a full-time position for the coming academic year.
In this role as an Science Academic Mentor,
the successful candidate will be providing 1 : 1 & small group tuition to students across KS3 & KS4.
The sessions will be tailored around the students academic weak points and be centred around a broad and balanced curriculum.

Science Academic Mentor Role Information :
- Science Academic Mentor
- Located in Birmingham (B11)
- Paid £450 per week during term time
- Monday to Friday position based in one SEMH school
- Working hours : 08.30am 15.30pm
- FREE online CPD courses SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding
- Planning and conducting 1 : 1 & small group Science GCSE tuition
- Creating engaging support sessions tailored around students needs

Science Academic Mentor Applicant Requirements :
- Minimum 2 : 1 Science subject degree
- Strong academic background
- Prior experience tutoring, teaching or mentoring
- Good organisation and communication skills
- Passionate about the opportunity to tutor Science to GCSE students
- Ability to build rapport with young people
