Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons to students across all year groups.
- Create a stimulating learning environment that promotes a deep understanding of chemical principles, experimentation, and critical thinking.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the Chemistry curriculum, ensuring it aligns with national standards and embraces innovative teaching methods.
- Play a key role in assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and nurturing a passion for scientific exploration.
- Participate in departmental activities and potentially lead extracurricular initiatives related to Chemistry.
Ideal Candidate :
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Chemistry.
- A minimum of two years' successful teaching experience within a secondary school setting, preferably in an independent school environment.
- A proven track record of delivering engaging and effective Chemistry lessons, catering to students of diverse abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- A genuine passion for Chemistry and the ability to inspire students to develop a love for the subject.
