Graduate Learning Support Assistant
A warm and welcoming secondary school in Leeds are recruiting for a Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join their team of caring, supportive, and committed staff in the next academic year.
The role involves supporting a year 7 student with SEN, aiding them access to the full range of learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom and providing modified materials as required.

Graduate Learning Support Assistant The Role :
- Graduate Learning Support Assistant
- Located in Leeds
- Providing support to a student with SEN in a mainstream school
- Promoting the student’s educational, emotional, and social development
- Employing and adapting various teaching strategies to suit the needs of the child
- Liaising with SENCo and teachers to aid access to the full range of learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom
- Helping with personal care
Graduate Learning Support Assistant The Benefits :

Graduate Learning Support Assistant Applicant Requirements :
- Minimum 2 : 1 degree in any subject
- Previous experience supporting people with SEN
- Previous experience working / volunteering with children and young people
- Passionate about supporting people with SEN
- Understanding, patient and empathetic towards young people’s needs
- Dedicated to making a difference to student’s experience of education
