Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver engaging Geography lessons, ensuring that the curriculum is covered effectively
- Create and implement differentiated lesson plans to cater to the diverse needs of students
- Assess and evaluate student progress through regular testing and assignments
- Provide feedback and support to students to aid their academic and personal development
- Collaborate with other teachers and professionals in the school to enhance teaching and learning practices
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Stay up-to-date with educational trends and research to incorporate fresh ideas into teaching practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geography or relevant field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred
- Proven experience teaching Geography in a primary or secondary school setting
- Strong knowledge and passion for Geography
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to inspire and engage students in the subject matter
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development and keeping up with industry advancements
