One the healthcare communications practises which is absolutely booming at the moment is looking for an account manager, strong in science, who can communicate science with passion, across a range of therapy areas.
You need at least 3 years’ experience in a healthcare communications consultancy setting.

The Account Manager’s Job :
- Varied aspects of healthcare communications media, medical, advocacy, digital, content creation as well as helping develop more junior staff and spotting opportunities for organic growth.
- Communicating and coordinating briefs and feedback with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Delegate work to Account and Senior Account Executives and support the delivery to manager
- Take an active role in mentoring and coaching junior staff
- Identify and pursue opportunities to collaborate with other practice groups and companies within the network
- Confidently respond to clients through email, and conducting client meetings / calls independently .
- Point of contact for a number of suppliers / vendors and ability to manage relationships across the business .
- Use your strong attention to detail and ability to proofread / QC documents at each stage of development.
You :
- The account manager must have a background in a healthcare PR or medical communications agency ideally, you’ll have 2-3 years min and now be looking to challenge your career in an agency where you can also develop new skills and work on international business
- Ambitious and intelligent, the account manager will have a working knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare landscape
- Genuine interest in expanding your existing skills in med ed, PR, digital and perhaps even clinical trial comms
- A life science degree is helpful but not essential
- Are a disciplined self-starter who can work with the team to deliver high quality work that meets the needs of their healthcare clients
