We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced French Teacher to join a wonderful independent school located in Westminster.

Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive French lessons to students across various age groups
- Develop and implement appropriate teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students
- Assess and evaluate students' progress regularly, providing timely feedback and support to ensure their ongoing development
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active student participation and a love for language learning
- Collaborate with the modern languages department to develop and enhance curriculum materials and resources
- Communicate effectively with parents, keeping them informed of students' progress and addressing any concerns or questions
- Participate in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with the latest educational practices and pedagogical approaches
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in French Language and / or Modern Languages Education
- Proven experience teaching French at primary or secondary level
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the French language and culture
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and connect with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the unique learning needs of students
- High level of organization and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a love for language learning in students
- Familiarity with the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
