Job description
PE Teacher / PE Instructor - Southampton - September Start!
Academics are looking for a passionate and engaging PE teacher, either qualified or unqualified who is able to commit to a full-time, on-going contract, ideally temp to perm, starting in September.
You will be joining a provision set up in Southampton City Centre which caters for vulnerable young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, and other associated needs such as autism.
They deliver swimming, gym, boxing and do all activities off-site in and around the facilities in the city centre. You must be able to plan and deliver their NCFE Sports Course and more if you able to offer it.
They are always looking at new subjects / activities they can offer to their young people. They aim to give students in Key Stages 4 and 5 an opportunity to access both academic and vocational qualifications.
As well as obtaining recognised qualifications they are also committed to preparing students for employment and adulthood pathways through bespoke curriculum's and supported work experience.
