Job description
Combustion Engineer / Commercial Gas Engineer required for our client; they are a well-known M&E; Services Contractor who have been in business for over 48 years.
They have clients based throughout London and the Home Counties and are currently looking for a Combustion Engineer to cover the area.
They require a Combustion Engineer will join the Energy Services team which operate and maintain 25 Heat Networks & Energy Centres across London and home counties.
You will be maintaining all types of boilers, burners and heating distribution systems. The work is a mixture of planned maintenance and repair works.
They operate a call-out service, although numbers of call-outs these days are low.
The Combustion Engineer must hold their ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications, including COCN1 or CODNC01, CIGA1 and CORT1. The Commercial Gas Engineer will ideally have 6+ years' experience working on commercial heating systems.
Combustion Engineer Position Overview
- Carry out service, maintenance and breakdown on boilers, burners and heating distribution systems
- Maintaining 25 Heat Networks & Energy Centres across London
- Covering London and the Home Counties
Combustion Engineer Position Requirements
- Minimum six years' experience in the field as Commerical / Combustion Gas Engineer.
- Valid Commercial Gas Tickets
- Previous experince on District Heating centres - Desirble
- A time served apprenticeship - deserible
- Uk Driving license
- Live within or around M25
Combustion Engineer Position Remuneration
- Salary £55,000 DOE
- Overtime - 1.5 & 2x - Currently average around £20,000 per annum
- Company Van + Fuel Card - optional private use of company vehicle
- 1 - 8 call out rota - looking to grow above 1-10
- Monday to Friday - 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm
- 23 days holiday + Bank Holidays
