Site Manager
Freelance
£250 - £280 per day
Working on a £3million Cut and Carve project
Based in Chichester
Project will run until March 2025

Position good to knows
- Required for Cut and Carve project for a new £3million music education block
- Project requires a strong Site Manager with good eye for a build plan
- Looking for a Site Manager who can help support the project
- Experience of education projects and advantage but not essential
- Ability to manage all trades and stick to project plan and delivery
- Will be number one on site reporting to the Project Manager
- Needs to be strong with : Health and SafetyRAMSPaperworkNeeds to have Cut and Carve experience
- Project will run until 26th March 2025
- Also needs to be : Computer literateNeeds to have Excel experienceGood with running and keeping to project programmingManaging all sub-contractors on siteGood with drawingsGood client skills
Headline of the Site Manager role
- Opportunity to slot into the project team working closing with the Project Manager
- Main scope of the project would be so oversee and lead the subcontractors
- Candidate must be strong organiser and ideally be aware and have practical knowledge of the build process
- The ideal candidate should have a good head for contracts and understand expectations and issues about non delivery
- Level of candidate would be a Site Manager and certainly someone to run the project
- Must be able to drive the project plan and meet handover targets
- Must be strong on health and safety
- Opportunity to handover units
- Keen to speak candidates who can bring experience of residential and modular projects
Your key duties as Site Manager
- Ensuring quality working towards quality standards
- Co-ordinate labour and trades
- Monitor and support the site build programme and control material levels
- Work with and assist a supportive team, but on a day today basis you will be the sole main person on the project
Key experiences you should have as Site Manager
- Solid work history of delivering construction projects
- Be a great communicator with the ability to support your site team
- Developing knowledge of commercial projects
- Ideally be from a trade background or have developed skills from activity being on live projects
Key must have’s you should have as the successful Senior Site Manager
- SMSTS
- CSCS
- First Aid At Work Certificate
