Assignment Details
As an Unqualified Teacher / Cover Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to manage classrooms and ensure continuity of learning in the absence of regular teachers. Key duties include :
- Supervising and managing classes across various subjects
- Implementing lesson plans left by absent teachers
- Maintaining a positive and productive learning environment
- Managing student behavior and promoting engagement
- Providing feedback on student progress and any issues that arise
- Assisting with administrative tasks related to cover lessons

Person Specification :
- Strong interest in education and working with young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively
- Adaptability and quick learning skills to cover various subjects
- Confidence in public speaking and engaging with groups
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one
- No formal teaching qualification required full training provided
