Job description :
My client is looking for Senior Staff Analog design engineer to join their Edinburgh, UK location.
The role will be to join an establish team developing high-performance data converter ICs and amplifiers for consumer markets! As part of this role, you'll design top-notch delta-sigma / SAR ADCs and DACs.
You'll also have the chance to contribute to designing various amplifiers, DC / DC converters, and more in advanced CMOS processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Drive and decide key technical system requirements for mixed-signal IC development
- Build the analog toplevel, defining power strategy and toplevel layout placement
- Familiar with analog-on-top or digital-on-top design flows
- Experience of ADC / DAC and or DC / DC designs
- Experienced in ESD and IO driver design
- Simulation of toplevel systems in Virtuoso Spectre (or similar)
- Lead design reviews
- Take an active role in mentoring other engineers
- Review and sign-off of the chip top level for tape out
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE :
- BSc / MSc with several years of proven IC development experience
- Strong skills in CMOS analog design and layout
- Proven experience in coordinating small teams of engineers from design to successful tape-outs
- Solid understanding of using Verilog-A, and System Verilog or Matlab
- Organized and detailed with strong communication skills
- Possess outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- Results-oriented and thrive in a dynamic environment
