What you will do
An exciting opportunity has become available as a Technical Service Specialist within our Commercial Suppression and Water Mist business.
The role will be responsible for the direct technical support of products and services for our gaseous suppression and watermist portfolios.
The role is responsible for providing first class technical support to our customers to drive growth.
You will be a technical expert, providing design and calculations. You will add value to the customer through Value Add and Value out engineering practices.
You will drive demand for our product portfolio though specification, working closely with our sales teams, key consultants, and influencers.

How you will do it
The role joins our existing UK based technical services team answering technical questions and providing design and hydraulic support for gaseous suppression and watermist portfolios.
You will provide virtual and in-person technical training.
You will manage your workload to meet technical and commercial KPI’s.
You will support our sales teams through technical guidance and expertise positioning JCI to win. You will author and peer review technical project specifications.
You will support the relationship with the customer, understanding customer’s product requirements and being customer centric in achieving individual and departmental goals.
Customers include end users, owner operators and contractors.
What we look for
Essentially :
This role has a lot of autonomy and requires the successful candidate to be driven and self-motivated.
Proven ability in creative problem solving in a technical environment
Technical knowledge of fire protection products,
specifically gaseous fire suppression and watermist technologies.
Fluent in AutoCad
Fluent in hydraulic design software (XXXXX)
Preferred :
Fluent in Revit & BiM modeling
