They are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Computer Science Teacher to join their dedicated faculty in a full-time, permanent position commencing this October or January 2025.
Position Overview :
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the school's dynamic Computer Science department,
inspiring the next generation of tech-savvy individuals.
The role entails fostering a love for technology and computational thinking in students, equipping them with essential skills for the digital age.
Key Responsibilities :
Design and deliver engaging and rigorous Computer Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum and school's educational goals across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes student curiosity, problem-solving, and collaboration.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Computer Science department and across the school to enhance the learning experience.
Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in the field of Computer Science.
Qualifications and Experience :
A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Demonstrated experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary level.
