Our thriving girls' school in West London seeks a talented and enthusiastic History teacher to join our dynamic faculty. This is a full-time, temporary position offering the opportunity to inspire and empower young women to achieve their full potential in History.
About the Role :
- Design and deliver engaging and informative History lessons across all year groups, adhering to the National Curriculum.
- Cultivate a stimulating and supportive learning environment that fosters a love of history,
critical thinking, and understanding of the past.
- Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of historical concepts, analytical skills, and practical applications.
- Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE, A-Level, and beyond).
- Collaborate with colleagues in the History department and contribute to school-wide events.
The Ideal Candidate :
- Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in History or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrates a strong passion for History and a captivating teaching style.
- Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management within a single-sex learning environment.
- Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students.
- Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student well-being.
