Investment Manager, Portfolio Management, Direct Lending Team, London UK About our client
We are working with a leading large cap credit fund who are seeking to grow their portfolio management team in London. They have 10bn+ of AUM and are one of the leading teams in the space.
The Portfolio Management team sits within the Direct Lending team, side by side the origination team, and is considered front office with all members heavily involved in financial modelling, presenting to IC and working closely with CFOs and COOs of the portfoliopanies as well. What the job involves
A highly technical role,
that requires financing modelling and an ethanium for working with portfoliopanies coupled with strong presentation andmunication skills.
- Financial modelling (building LBO models from scratch)
- Thorough analysis of portfoliopanies
- Presentations both to internal stakeholders and external
- Strongmunication skills to work with management teams within portfoliopanies
- Generating monthly reports of portfoliopanies performance
- Restructurings of underperformingpanies
- Various ad hoc tasks when required
Who we are looking for
- Experience from any of the following areas - Portfolio management, Direct Lending, Leverage Finance Origination, Leveraged Finance Credit, Restructuring (IB)
- History of strong academics from leading institutions
- An enthusiastic attitude and willingness to work within a team
- Entrepreneurial in nature and happy to step up with large amounts of responsibility
