About Our Client
A new exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join a very successful and growing business based in Guildford.
Job Description
- Reviewing coding and VAT treatment of purchase invoices* Scanning all purchase invoices
- Managing credit card purchases and expenses* Supplier statement reconciliations* Maintaining an On-hold file for disputed invoices* Answering queries and sorting issues with suppliers* Weekly setting up of payments, ensuring appropriate approvals are in place.
- Daily updating of payments and receipts to assist with bank reconciliations
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm bank details and deal with invoice queries.
The Successful Applicant
- Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience in a finance role
- May be studying towards an accountancy qualification (AAT)
- Good communication skills
- Team player
What's on Offer
Accounts Assistant
- Salary up to £30,000
- 25 days annual leave plus bank hols
- Monday - Friday 9-5pm
- Hybrid working
- Parking (Due to office location, candidates will need to drive and own a car).
