About the Role :
Our client, a highly regarded secondary school in the picturesque town of Leatherhead, Surrey, is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their thriving Science department.
This full-time, permanent position commences in September and presents an exceptional opportunity for an educator to make a lasting impact on the academic and personal development of Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 students.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver engaging and informative Science lessons across the specified key stages.
- Design and execute innovative lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and pedagogical philosophy.
- Assess student progress through various methods, providing constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with fellow Science department members to enhance the department's overall efficacy and foster a supportive learning environment.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of scientific advancements and educational best practices.
Qualifications and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Science at the secondary level (Key Stages 3, 4, and 5).
Salary and Benefits :
- Competitive salary package commensurate with experience, aligned with the Main Pay Scale (MPS) and Upper Pay Scale (UPS) for teachers (M1 to UPS3).
