Sports coaches interested in doing more classroom based school work Are you currently working as a sports coach but want to diversify your experience to more than simply sports based?
Do you wish to gain more classroom based experience or perhaps you are hoping or considering to be a teacher one day? I am currently looking to take on several people to work closely with secondary students who struggle with mental health or anxiety and in some cases show interests in things like sports.
This will mostly be helping students with their learning and staying engaged in their education, whilst also navigating their behaviours using tools like sports to help maintain positive behaviours.
The ideal candidates will enjoy and see value in working with teenagers, along with having the compassion and resilience to be able to handle the challenges the work can present with.
Good communication and a team attitude is required, along with being confident in safeguarding procedures and how we deal with points of concern.

These roles are all to start in September and working Monday to Friday 8 : 30-3 : 30, term time only in a mainstream secondary school in Bristol.
