General Manager Premium Restaurant
Location : Manchester
Salary : Up to £60,000 plus Bonus

The Role of General Manager :
The ideal candidate will bring their A-game every day, with a passion for great food, a strong presence on the floor, and a knack for leading and developing a team.
Financial accountability is key in this role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Overseeing daily opening and closing procedures,
including reports and cash handling
- Briefing staff and organising the floor for daily operations
- Managing and supporting the team
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and handling complaints
- Forecasting rotas, training, recruitment, team and menu development, and managing P&L;
- Developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Promoting organic growth and continuous improvement within the team
- Leveraging strong commercial acumen to maximise restaurant performance
The Ideal Candidate :
- A natural leader who can inspire and bring out the best in their team
- Financially savvy, ensuring both business and financial growth
- Comfortable with full autonomy of the site, reporting directly to the head of operations
- Experienced in openings and project management on a similar scale
- Minimum of 5 years in a fast-paced, high-end restaurant environment
- Demonstrates clear career progression, ambition, and a well-rounded skillset
- Proven success in developing a high-end restaurant from financial, commercial, and customer perspectives
- Possesses a big personality, enjoys interacting with the team and guests
- Super passionate about food and wine
- Ambitious and eager to grow their career
- Well-presented and flexible in their approach
