They are currently seeking a dedicated and inspiring Chemistry Teacher to join their esteemed faculty. This full-time,
permanent position offers a unique platform to cultivate a passion for science and inspire the next generation of chemists.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering a comprehensive and engaging Chemistry curriculum to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
The role entails fostering a stimulating and inquiry-based learning environment that encourages critical thinking, scientific curiosity, and a deep understanding of the chemical world.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and deliver captivating Chemistry lessons that align with the national curriculum and the school's educational philosophy.
- Create a dynamic classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement and participation.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Science department and across the school to enrich the learning experience.
- Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in Chemistry education.
Qualifications and Experience :
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry or a closely related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary level.
