Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Maths lessons to students, ensuring their understanding and progress
- Develop lesson plans and teaching materials that align with the curriculum
- Assess and evaluate students' performance, providing constructive feedback
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and any concerns or challenges
- Implement effective classroom management strategies that promote a safe and supportive learning environment
- Stay updated with current educational research and trends to enhance teaching methods and approaches
Requirements
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent in Maths Education
- Proven experience teaching Maths at the primary or secondary level
- Excellent knowledge of the Maths curriculum and teaching methods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Passion for teaching and fostering a love for Maths in students
- Proactive and flexible approach to teaching and learning
