Our client, a prominent player in the financial services industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Relationship Manager to join their Corporate and Institutional Banking team.
This role is ideal for a financial professional with a passion for fostering relationships and driving growth. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing corporate clients across various sectors and geographies.
Role Overview :
The Senior Relationship Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding the corporate client base. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key corporate clients across multiple sectors and geographies.
Their expertise will span a wide range of products including global transactions, corporate lending, structured trade finance, real estate finance, correspondent banking, and treasury services.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify, attract, and maintain relationships with relevant client profiles (to be assessed from time to time by Head of MNC) and observe the Financial Crime Risk Appetite Statement and wider Financial Crime procedures as will be published and amended from time to time;
- Oversee the client onboarding process from both CDD / KYC perspective and provide business support with relevant information to complete the onboarding process as outlined in the Financial Crime procedures
- Review CDD information in line with risk profile of client (including trigger reviews based on adverse media)
- Respond to and manage AML / CTF and wider compliance concerns in line with policies throughout the life of the client relationship;
Skills & Attributes Required :
Academic achievement to include :
- MSc in relevant industry : Business managementEconomicsOr : Professional qualification such as ACIB
- Minimum 10 years experience within UK Banking Industry in business coverage
- Previous experience to include interaction with :
- Large corporates and multinational configuration
- Trade finance
- Proficient in Excel (Advanced Level Desirable)
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills
- Accurate organized individual, flexible and happy to undertake any task in support of the team members and thus the client
