Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons that cater to the needs and abilities of students
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to students, fostering their intellectual and personal development
- Plan and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance students' understanding and enjoyment of Science
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement cross-curricular projects and initiatives
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events
- Establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
Requirements
Education and Experience :
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Specialism in Science or a related field
- Prior experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting is highly desirable
- Passion for Science education and a genuine desire to make a difference in students' lives
- Excellent knowledge of the Science curriculum and teaching methodologies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics and create a positive learning environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest educational trends
