Graduate Teaching Assistant Brent
Clarus Education are here to help! We are currently working in partnership with a fantastic Brent Secondary school searching for caring and driven individuals who are keen to spend time as a Graduate Teaching Assistant starting ASAP.
What is required of a Graduate Teaching Assistant?
All Teaching Assistants should be qualified and comfortable working with young children. Active listening skills, creativity and genuine enjoyment of children are all beneficial for this position.
A successful Teaching Assistant will also have various prerequisite skills and qualifications which typically include :
- Flexibility and openness to change
- A caring and nurturing attitude towards children
- Excellent verbal communication
- The ability to remain calm under pressure
- Sensitivity and understanding
- The ability to work well with others
- Customer service skills
Job description
- Graduate Teaching Assistant
- Supporting children on a 1 : 1 and small group basis
- Encouraging learning through play and investigation
- Long Term & Full Time
- September start
- £80 - £100 per day
- Located in the Borough of Brent
What we are looking for?
- A minimum level 3 qualification in a relevant subject
- Be able to lead large group activities
- Experience working with children
- Committed individual
- Have an animated personality
