Responsibilities
- Teach physical education (PE) classes to primary or secondary school students
- Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons that promote physical activity, fitness, and teamwork
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback on their performance
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that motivates and inspires students
- Manage and maintain PE equipment and resources
- Organize and supervise extracurricular sports activities, such as school teams or tournaments
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop cross-curricular projects and initiatives
Requirements
- Qualified teacher status or equivalent in physical education
- Experience teaching PE to primary or secondary school students
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a diverse classroom and differentiate instruction
- Passion for promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles
- Enthusiasm for working with children and the ability to inspire and motivate them
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
