Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons that meet the needs of all students
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where each student feels supported and valued
- Foster a love for mathematics by incorporating real-world examples and practical exercises into lessons
- Use a variety of teaching techniques to cater to different learning styles and abilities
- Assess student progress regularly and provide timely feedback to support their growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective departmental strategies
- Communicate with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns or questions
Requirements
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching Maths at the primary / secondary level
- Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and current developments within the Maths field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
- A passion for education and a commitment to helping each student reach their full potential
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons
- A growth mindset and a willingness to embrace new teaching methodologies and technologies
