Events Coordinator / Manager, Birmingham, to£30k

Working as part of an existing team, the successful Events Manager will be involved in working on a variety of client accounts and events.

Overview :

- Forge client relationships.
- Discuss ideas around theming, set / stage design, signage etc with clients.
- Present concepts for sign off.
- Full event planning from concept through delivery. (managing on-site preparations and event breakdown)
- Lead pre-event meetings and conduct post event debriefs.
- Manage and control costs and budgeting.
- Produce event plans and schedules so all involved is aware.
- Keep clients updated and get consent of any additional costs.
- Building and maintain relationships with suppliers,





vendors and venues to ensure best rates.
- Venue sourcing / selection.
- Logistic planning.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed.
- Comply with insurance requirements.
- Ensure H&S; policies and procedures are enforced.

Requirements :

- Proven Event Planning / Management background either working for an Event Agency / Production / Services Company or In-House.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work outside of conventional office hours when needed this may include evenings, weekends and bank holiday.
- You must be UK based.
- Sponsorship is not available so you will need to have full leave to remain.
