Responsibilities
- Lead engaging and dynamic music lessons for students at various levels of proficiency.
- Develop comprehensive music curriculum and lesson plans that align with national standards.
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Organize and lead extracurricular music activities, such as choirs, bands, or orchestras.
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate music into interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting creativity and self-expression.
- Stay updated with new music educational practices and participate in professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience teaching music in a primary or secondary school setting.
- Excellent command of music theory, instrumental techniques, and vocal training.
- Strong ability to inspire and motivate students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and time-management skills to maintain a well-structured music program.
