In this position your work on a 1 : 1 and small group basis supporting learners from 19+ years with various educational activities, activities to develop their lives and activities to build their confidence.

Learners that attend this setting have complex SEN needs so previous SEN experience is desirable. This job is not easy and is not for the faint-hearted but it will be the most rewarding job you ever do.

This position is a permanent role needed Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. This is a day centre so there is no expectation to work evenings and weekends.

- There is lots of room for progression in the roles, from senior teaching assistant to skill development and other areas to branch into (therapies, inclusion support etc.)

Desirable : SEN experience

Education or care based experience in the last 2 years

Eligibility to work in the UK

Responsibilities :

- Support learners on a 1 : 1, small group basis
- Offering care and education support
- Supporting with learning, life skills and social activities

This role is open to receiving applications over the next week. Within a week of the closing date, appropriate applicants will begin a three-stage interview process, after which shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend the final stage of the interview process with appropriate school leadership.
