Job description
Wayman Group is currently seeking a Geography teacher for an excellent school in Guildford, Surrey. This position is available starting in April.

Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging geography lessons to students in accordance with the curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth.
- Assess student performance and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate curriculum activities.
- Monitor and track student progress, implementing interventions as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievement, and behavior.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders regarding student progress and goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience teaching geography in a primary or secondary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the geography curriculum and ability to deliver high-quality lessons.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the school and students.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and other stakeholders.
