We are looking for a committed and outstanding individual for the role of Detective Sergeant in the OIMU, based predominantly at Greater Manchester Police HQ.
As an OIMU DS, you will manage a small team of officers and staff who are responsible for the covert investigation of priority operations.
Your team will proactively gather, assess and develop intelligence to support the objectives of a CT Senior Investigating Officer (CTSIO).
In order to do so,
you will build and maintain strong relationships with law enforcement and UK intelligence community partners as part of daily business.
Candidates should possess an investigative mindset, an understanding of intelligence handling, and the ability to assess threat and risk.
Effective communication, teamwork and a proactive attitude are also vital attributes.
