Full-Time Year 4 Teaching Assistant Primary School, Nelson (BB9)
Start Date : January 2025
Hourly rate : £12.90 - £13.55 PH (before AWR)
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team at a vibrant primary school in Nelson .
This is a full-time position working with Year 4 students, starting in January 2025 .
Key Responsibilities :
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons.
- Working with small groups of children to provide focused support, ensuring all students reach their full potential.
- Assisting with classroom management and creating an engaging learning environment.
- Helping to plan and deliver tailored interventions for students with additional needs.
- Providing 1 : 1 support for pupils as required.
- Supporting the social and emotional development of children, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
About You :
- Experience working with primary-aged children (preferably in a classroom setting).
- A passion for education and helping children succeed.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Patient, caring, and committed to making a difference.
- A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant) is desirable but not essential.
