Please ensure that a HR address / email is provided for each referee named. Job overview This role provides senior leadership to our specialist West Yorkshire Children and Young Peoples Provider Collaborative.

It is a very senior role given the breadth and depth of work, system and service leadership required, building on our experience since going live with the collaborative in October .

We have come a long way since the start of the provider collaborative and have built positive relationships with members of the partnership.







There is much more to do though with the growing demand and needs of young people affected by Mental Health issues we want to make sure that they receive the care and support they need here in West Yorkshire.

Clearly work alongside communities, families and provider across the West Yorkshire footprint will take us further in achieving this aim.

For this reason, the postholder will be able to demonstrate a professional background in Children and Young Peoples Mental Health alongside exemplary senior leadership and management skills.

Main duties of the job Working collaboratively with the partner organisations, the PC Lead will be accountable for setting the strategic direction of the West Yorkshire (WY) CYP MH Provider Collaborative (PC).

They will promote the development of practice across the Provider Collaborative, ensuring safe and effective practice, systems of clinical involvement and assurance of quality.







They will be responsible for delivery of the ambitions of the provider collaborative.The primary aim of the role is to work with clinicians and stakeholders in partner organisations to develop and drive forward a clinical model informed by the needs and views of people with lived experience, ensuring it is reflective of best practice and national guidelines, and is in line with the requirements of the Collaborative.

This will involve driving forward repatriation plans, supporting the key ambition for service users to be cared for in area where possible.

The postholder will provide and develop a working environment and culture of trust, openness and effective team working which fosters high morale, commitment and optimum performance among all staff and promotes their well-being, professional and personal development in line with service needs.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities The PC Lead will promote the development of quality across the Provider Collaborative,





including building a culture of inquiry, learning and practice improvement;

identifying areas of service improvement, pathway development and new models of care where patient experience and outcomes can be enhanced.

They will develop a clinical evidence base for decision making which will inform future commissioning decisions.· Engage with stakeholders in setting, developing and supporting the vision and direction for the WY CYP MH PC in line with national aims and objectives.

Develop an evidence base for decision making which will inform future commissioning intentions and decisions.Strategically drive the development and enhancement of practice across the Provider Collaborative.

Be aware of, and respond to,





the national agenda set by NHS England and the implications and opportunities for WY.Promote the development of partnership and one system’ working including joining up clinical pathways, workforce, training and governance.

Represent WY at a local level including CCG, TCP, Local Authority, Health and Wellbeing boards, and other appropriate meeting.
