Acacium Group is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our expanding team, responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining our DevOps function for a recently acquired UK business.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in providing DevOps engineering support within Azure DevOps.
As our DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and enhancing existing DevOps systems and pipelines.
You will work in diverse environments and support a variety of solutions. This is a hands-on, dynamic role that involves tackling challenging technical solutions, so a can do’ attitude is essential.

Our services help people avoid hospital or accelerate them safely through it, with specialist support in their community or homes whenever needed.
Every day you will
- Develop and maintain the infrastructure by using coding and automation toolsets.
- Work with developers and infrastructure engineers to resolve service issues.
- Ensure environment and toolsets are in place for development teams and CI process.
- Manage code releases to production, looking for ways to continually improve and streamline that process.
- Create technical documentation and maintain for successful support transition of services.
- Take lead in helping to define the future platforms most appropriate for our applications.
- Create quality solutions adhering to the SWASP security standards.

To thrive in this role, you must have...
- A great understanding of Agile Software Development.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Devops (SaaS), Microsoft Azure, OnPrem Wintel administration and OnPrem Linux administration
- Proven ability of automating software builds and raising new environments to agreed standards.
- Experience of working with and implementing scalable solutions using virtual machines and containers.
