Position : EYFS Teacher

Contract Type : Permanent

Pay : MPS

Job Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Teacher to work for a Thurrock based Primary School.

You will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students, delivering high-quality instruction, and supporting their overall development.

This position requires strong organizational skills, effective classroom management abilities, and a commitment to fostering a love for learning in young minds.

Responsibilities :

- Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons based on the curriculum guidelines,





ensuring they are appropriate for the age and abilities of the students.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning, collaboration, and respect among students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a disciplined and safe learning environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to develop and implement a cohesive curriculum that meets educational objectives.
- Communicate regularly with parents / guardians regarding student progress, behaviour, and any concerns that may arise.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with educational trends.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including attendance, grades, and assessments.
- Ensure compliance with school policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.






- Support the social and emotional development of students, fostering a positive classroom community.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Proven experience as a Primary Teacher, preferably in a similar temporary capacity.
- Sound knowledge of primary curriculum guidelines and educational best practices.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents / guardians, and colleagues.
- Highly organized, with the ability to plan and deliver effective lessons.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a temporary assignment through a recruitment agency.






- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with educational advancements.
- Successful completion of background checks and any other necessary screening required by the recruitment agency and the school.
