About the Role :
- Plan, deliver,
and assess engaging and informative History lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for relevant year groups.
- Cultivate a stimulating and supportive learning environment that fosters a passion for historical inquiry, critical thinking, and effective communication skills.
- Motivate students of all abilities to develop a deep understanding of historical events, figures, and concepts.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and interests.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the History department and participate in school-wide events.
The Ideal Candidate :
- Possesses Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in History or a closely related subject.
- Demonstrates a strong knowledge of history and a captivating teaching style.
- Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management.
- Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
