Are you passionate about finance systems and eager to make a real impact in a vibrant environment? We’re looking for an Assistant Finance Systems Analyst on a Fixed Term Contract to 30th June 2025, to support our Group Finance Systems Manager in the smooth operation, maintenance, and enhancement of our core financial applications, Workday and TM1.
Designing, testing, and implementing technical system changes to continuously enhance our finance processes, you’ll help drive improvements and assist in the design and production of Workday reports, business processes, and integrations.
Providing support for finance system updates, you’ll maintain end-user setups, challenge current practices to improve processes while managing risk, and help to deliver small-scale projects with the support of 3rd party vendors.
Working flexibly, you'll spend most of your time working from home, with a day or two a week in the office (living a commutable distance from Haywards Heath, West Sussex is a must for this role!).
But of course,
it’s your choice - if you prefer to be in the office more - that's good with us too.

Whats involved :
- Assist with the gathering and documentation of change requests, and requirements from the wider Finance function
- Design, test and implement technical system changes to deliver ongoing continuous improvements to Finance
- Assist with the management and delivery of small-scale projects with the help of 3rd party support.
- Assist in the design and production of Workday reports, Business Processes, and Integrations
- Act as a focus point for any incidents and issues, liaising with relevant stakeholders and 3rd party support / vendors to agree actions, owners and dates
- Build effective working relationships and influence across all levels, fostering an open and collaborative culture
- Provide support for finance system updates and development work across all finance systems
- Challenging current practices, actively seeking to improve processes, whilst managing risk
- End user set-up and security maintenance, as required.
- Comply with the requirements, and act in accordance with, the Group Code of Conduct and Fitness and Propriety policies at all times
- Ensure compliance with Company Policies, Values and guidelines and other relevant standards / regulations at all times
What’ll you need in experience, skills and knowledge :
- Background in an accounting / finance function, especially as a finance system administrator or in a finance change role - you'll be a valuable asset to any team
- Proven ability to build trust with stakeholders and resolve conflicts - you've got the magic touch
- Familiarity with ERP, General Ledger, or P2P systems together with Workday and TM1 is a plus - you'll hit the ground running and be one step ahead of the game
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel and strong mathematical, analytical, and organisational skills - the go to for crunching numbers, analysing data, or keeping everything running smoothly, you've got it covered
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with senior managers, colleagues, and external stakeholders - you've got the gift of gab and the knack for putting thoughts into words, making sure everyone's on the same page and things run smoothly
- Ability to work well under pressure and think clearly in challenging situations - you've got the cool head and quick thinking that make all the difference
