Location : Sheffield
Salary : £170 - £200 per day

GSL is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Humanities Teacher (QTS) to join our secondary schools in Sheffield starting in September 2024.
Job Summary :
As a Humanities Teacher for KS3 and KS4, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across the humanities subjects, inspiring and engaging students to reach their full potential.
Your role will involve planning and implementing an effective curriculum, assessing student progress, and fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
You will collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the humanities department.
Key Responsibilities :
- Delivering high-quality humanities lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Developing and implementing a humanities curriculum that meets educational standards and caters to student needs.
- Assessing and evaluating student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school’s overall objectives.
Qualifications and Experience :
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialisation in humanities subjects.
- Proven experience in teaching humanities at KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
