Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality French lessons that meet the diverse learning needs of students
- Use a variety of instructional techniques and resources to facilitate language acquisition and cultural understanding
- Assess and monitor student progress, provide regular feedback, and support their individual learning goals
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes respectful and inclusive learning
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student performance and progress
- Participate in departmental meetings, professional development activities,
and school events as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in French or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
- Proven experience teaching French to primary or secondary students
- Strong knowledge of the French language, grammar, and cultural nuances
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lessons that cater to students' individual needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative and innovative approach to teaching, using a variety of resources and technology
- Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a love for learning in students
