Are you a dedicated and passionate educator with experience in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Position : Full-Time SEMH Teacher Location : Resource Base Attached to a Primary School Start Date : September Hours : 8 : 30 AM - 3 : 30 PM, Monday to Friday Pay : MPS3 UPS3 About the Role : We have been approached by a resource base attached to a primary school seeking a specialist SEMH teacher to join their team.
This full-time role involves working in a resource base that caters to primary-aged pupils with SEMH needs. The base comprises two classes, serving a total of 17 pupils,
ensuring a supportive and manageable learning environment.
Key Responsibilities : -Delivering tailored educational programs to meet the unique needs of pupils with SEMH -Collaborating with an additional teacher and four Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to maintain a staff-to-student ratio of approximately 3 : 8 -Creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that promotes students’ academic and personal growth -Implementing and adapting lesson plans to address individual learning styles and needs -Providing ongoing assessment and feedback to support student progress Requirements : -Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) -Experience working with children with SEMH needs -Strong understanding of primary education and SEND practices -Excellent communication and teamwork skills -Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive educational environment What We Offer : -Competitive salary (MPS3 UPS3)
