Job description
- ideally you will already have around 1 years + experience
- happy to train and mentor someone needing assistance or further support
- routinely conduct laparoscopic and orthopaedic surgery and are happy to train
We are now recruiting for a Vet Surgeon to join the team at an independently owned small animal practice in super location on the Durham coast in North East England.
- excellent full time opportunity working 4 days a week and 1 in 3 Saturday mornings on a rota, no Sundays, no OOH.
- practice is purpose built, spacious and well equipped
- varied and interesting caseload and a loyal and friendly client base
- ideally you will already have around 1 years + experience in practice and feel confident with basic consults and surgeries although team are happy to train and mentor someone needing assistance or further support.
- role is a mix between consults and surgery.
- practice routinely conduct laparoscopic and orthopaedic surgery and are happy to train in these areas if of interest.
- join a lovely, friendly, welcoming 2 Vet and 7 nurse team
- CPD allowance and Certificates supported.
- RCVS, VDS and BSAVA memberships paid.
- super location on the Durham coast within easy reach of Cities of Durham and Sunderland surrounded by stunning countryside and coastline.
- relocation allowance and VISA sponsorship available.
Person Requirements
- Graduate in Veterinary Medicine
- Registered with the RCVS
- ideally you will already have around 1 years + experience
