Our OFSTED Outstanding mixed secondary school in West London seeks a talented and enthusiastic Drama teacher to join our dynamic faculty.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering the opportunity to inspire and nurture young minds in a supportive and academically rigorous environment.
About the Role :
- Design and deliver engaging and informative Drama lessons across all year groups, adhering to the National Curriculum.
- Cultivate a stimulating and creative learning environment that fosters a love of drama, performance, and self-expression.
- Guide students in developing their acting skills, technical abilities, and understanding of dramatic theory.
- Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE, A-Level, as applicable).
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Arts department and contribute to school-wide productions and events.
The Ideal Candidate :
- Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Drama or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrates a strong passion for Drama and a captivating teaching style.
- Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management within a diverse learning environment.
- Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students.
- Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student well-being.
