Job description
Our client, a well-established national business headquartered in Glasgow, is currently recruiting for a Senior Legal Counsel.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) and demonstrable expertise in regulatory compliance and commercial contracts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for advising and providing guidance on a range of matters, including but not limited to mergers and acquisitions, disputes, commercial property, data protection, and intellectual property.
Key responsibilities include :
- Supporting the General Counsel in the development, implementation, and maintenance of effective compliance policies, procedures, and guidance across the Group,
with a specific focus on anti-bribery and corruption, sanctions, modern slavery, and other compliance areas as required.
- Collaborating with project teams across the organisation to provide legal support for strategic initiatives, including joint ventures and redevelopment projects, ensuring successful project outcomes.
- Assisting in the design and delivery of legal and compliance training for the company’s boards and management teams.
This is a full-time position offering a hybrid working arrangement to promote work-life balance.
