A well-established, co-educational school in Hillingdon, West London, seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic History teacher to join our dynamic faculty for the upcoming academic year (start date : September).
This is a full-time, permanent position offering the opportunity to inspire students across all year groups and develop their historical understanding.
About the Role :
- You will design and deliver engaging and informative History lessons tailored to the National Curriculum, catering to all Key Stages (KS3, KS4, and / or KS5).
- You will create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love of history, critical thinking skills, and a deeper understanding of the world around us.
- You will be responsible for motivating students to develop a strong knowledge base of historical events, figures, and movements.
- You will stay abreast of advancements in historical pedagogy and integrate innovative teaching methods into your lessons.
- You will collaborate with colleagues within the History department to ensure a cohesive curriculum and contribute to school-wide events.
The Ideal Candidate :
- Possesses a valid QTS in History or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrates a fervent passion for history and a captivating teaching style.
- Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management.
- Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student well-being.
