We are looking to work with an SEN Teaching Assistant who can work on a 1 : 1 basis with pupils, in a primary school based in Middleton.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting pupils in the classroom whilst liasing with the teacher, promoting engagement, alongside working 1 : 1 with children with educational and health needs.
This role may require some personal care.
Hours : 08.30 - 15.30 (32.5 hours) 5 days a week, September start.
The successful SEN Teaching assistant will :
- Hold a Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Have experience working with and / or caring for children (in an education setting is desirable)
- Hold a valid DBS (we can provide if you don't have one)
- First aid qualified (desirable)
- Are committed to working with confidentiality and discretion
