History Teacher Opportunity at Esteemed Secondary School in Lambeth
We are delighted to partner with a well-respected secondary school in Lambeth, recognized for its strong academic focus and inclusive learning environment.
They are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate History Teacher to join their faculty on a full-time, permanent basis.
Position Summary
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in inspiring students with a love of history, nurturing their critical thinking skills,
and developing their understanding of the past's impact on the present. The role involves :
- Designing and delivering engaging History lessons that align with the national curriculum and school's educational philosophy across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity, inquiry, and historical analysis.
- Assessing student progress , providing constructive feedback, and tailoring instruction to meet individual needs.
- Collaborating with colleagues within the Humanities department to develop a rich and diverse curriculum.
- Contributing to the school's extracurricular activities and fostering a sense of community.
Qualifications & Experience
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in History or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Proven experience teaching History at the secondary level.
